Trauma Center: Under the Knife is a surprisingly fun approach to a somewhat morbid theme, and the "medical" focus may scare potential gamers away from the action within the package. Atlus has pulled off a very original and clever design on the Nintendo DS platform, and even with the repetitive gameplay and occasional stumble in the design the game still manages to be one of the shining lights in the system's library. It's a really impressive first-generation outing on the Nintendo DS.
