MasterChef is based on the first season of the Australian format, produced by by FremantleMedia Australia, which in turn was based on the BBC series MasterChef. Chef, television personality and restaurateur Gordon Ramsay together with wine maker Joe Bastianich and four star chef Graham Elliot are the judges in this new version of MasterChef. The US version, however, has some deviations from the Australian version.
