Note :
======
This trailer with all audio tracks is for test purposes only.
Due to additional audio tracks the max. bitrate will exceed the max. bitrate of 10.5mbps !!
If you just want to have a nice trailer remove all unnessesary tracks !!
The 2.0DD is original from the stereo aac 192kbps stream.
This trailer is made for testing upmix capabilities of some programs.
The printscreens will speak for its self !!
Please note that the 4th audio track uses a Dolby Prologic II movie encoding.
The speech is therefor nicely filtered to the center speaker.
The TFM Audio Tool just uses a matrix to redirect the audio to the 5 channels.
This TFM Audio tool boost up the LFE channel (by default) causing heavy clipping !
RK-Settings ;
Left : 0,50 - 0,00
Center : 0,35 - 0,35
Right : 0,00 - 0,50
S_Left : 0,20 - -0,20
S_Right : -0,20 - 0,20
LFE : 0,20 - 0,20
Res 1,0
Delay 100mS
Freq.100Hz
The LFE is reduced to "normal" by changing the LFE from 1,00 to 0,20 and the Res from 1,75 to 1,00.
Audio tracks should remain a flat frequency responce as default.
If you personnaly like a heavy bass you should adjust your own system.
Personnaly I don't see the need in upmixes at all. All modern A/V receivers have Dolby Prologic II (movie/music) encoders which will work far more better than these "one click" conversion tools.
Applications used :
===================
DVD Maestro (authoring and remuxing)
ConvertXtoDVD (HD mov to SD vob)
VobEdit (extracting m2v and ac3)
SoundForge 9.0 (analyzing and wav to ac3 converting)
Foobar (ac3 and andrews upmix plugin, decoding ac3 to wav and upmix 2.0 to 5.1)
TFM Audio Tool 1.0.8 beta (upmix 2.0 to 5.1, extracting aac from the mov to stereo wav)
Have fun with this trailer by r.k.
