GBTimelapse is a Windows application for the capture of time-lapse sequences. It controls a Canon camera connected to your computer by a USB or Firewire cable. The camera's settings are changed and images are captured using the computer rather than the camera controls. A series of time-lapse images can be gathered automatically while the camera and computer are left unattended.

What you need to make a time-lapse movie...

A Canon digital still camera 
A computer running Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 
A copy of GBTimelapse to capture an image sequence 
A movie maker program like Quicktime Pro to make a movie from the sequence
